1. Geopraphy:

2. Travel to Sapa:
To travel to Sapa, you must first get to Hanoi, where there are many stations and bus to choose from.
If you choose to go by bus or train, it takes about 8 to 9 hours to get to Sapa from the capital of Vietnam. You can take the bus at My Dinh, Yen Nghia, Gia Lam bus station or get a seat on the train from Hanoi, Dong Anh, Gia Lam station. The fee is not expensive. It will not cost much for a Fansipan tour. In Vietnam, travelling is quite cheap. But there won’t be any flight to fly to Sapa from Hanoi.
One thing you have to be careful is that it is easy to buy a ticket to Lao Cai from Hanoi, but not so much to get one for the way back. It is not easy but not unattainable so you wouldn’t have to worry too much.
