VietJet Air has announced that it will add two new domestic air routes and increase the number of flights this summer to meet the rising demand from both domestic and foreign passengers.
From April 27, there will be two flights per day on the Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang route while it will fly daily from Hanoi to Nha Trang beginning May 19.
The airline will also increase its flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi eight per day as of April 27.
VietJet Air joined the Vietnamese market as its fifth air carrier in late 2011 offering flights on the major route from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. To date it has safely operated nearly 360 flights carrying more than 40,000 passengers. It will continue to expand its domestic and international routes in 2012.
