HIT Vietnam transport choice for all tours are best choice of its range. For traveling along Vietnam, we often mix the usages of road transfer, flights and occasionally trains. A good choice of transfer ensures your comfort of travelling, enhance your energy for more enjoy natural and cultural beauty.
For regular road transfer
VietnamTour.com uses private cars and private drivers for all our Vietnam package tours. Our car selection responding to your group size is:
- 2 persons on 7 seater car,
- 3-6 persons on 16 seater van,
- 7-10 persons on 24 seater mini coach,
- 11-15 persons on 35 seater coach
- 16-25 persons on 45 seater bus.
This allocation ensures not only the space for your seat but your luggage so that you can have comfortable drive for up to 4-5 hours. All small models have seat belts, the mini coaches up have seat belt at “dangerous seats”.
On some mountainous trails such as Sapa that the roads are very narrow with dangerous twists, we use 35 seater coach as maximum size for the utmost client safety. The 4WD SUV models for mountainous conquering are not popular in Vietnam for rent. Our vehicles are modern models with engine strong enough to conquer the most challenging mountainous roads of Vietnam.
For deluxe and luxury transfer
Transferring by deluxe or luxurious vehicle models eg: Lexus, BMW, Mercedes is available in Vietnam but well prepare for the price because it can shock you – a real shock, we truly mean it. The reason is Vietnamese imported taxes applied for such deluxe car models up to 200% – 300%. This factor results in the price for those models often double or triple for origin ones in US or EU. So does the rental price.

Driver services
Our drivers are all well trained for serving in travel industry and know-how to give comfortable drive as well as friendly smile along your journey. However, most of drivers in Vietnam are hardly speaking English. Some can but their English is very limited with basic conversations. That’s why we always manage a tour guide to support you. Despite of this factor, their professionals is a big plus point for our selected driving services.
For best driving safety, we limit driving time per day for a driver not exceed up to 8 hours equivalent to 400km per day in regular roads and not exceed 300km per day in mountainous road. We do not supply car rental services without hiring a driver.
Domestic flights
There are 3 carriers operating domestic flights within Vietnam: Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and VietJet Air. HIT Vietnamuses Vietnam Airlines only for all our domestic flights due to its more reliable schedule, aircrafts and better services. Even though the price of Vietnam Airlines is rather higher than two remain players, its services always perform better with more space for luggage, up-to-date aircrafts, many choice of alternative flight times, light meals included ect.
Train travel
Train travel in Vietnam for tourists is not that as good as in Western countries but still comfortable and cheap option for budget travelers. There is the only one organization controlling train schedule – Vietnam Railways. Daylight trains are local traders only and stops on every single terminals while night trains are for tourists with more departures and less stop. Trains for tourist are actually “coaches for tourists” invested by private companies on the train by Vietnam Railways. On a single train by Vietnam Railways, there may be several private companies invests on some coaches. HIT Vietnam tries our best to manage all our bookings in tourist coaches so that you can enjoy 4 soft berth cabins (which is much more space than 6 berth cabins) with air conditioning.
