1.How to purchase the train tickets:
Direct purchasing is very easy at any train station in Myanmar. You will need all personal information to buy a ticket including names, passport number, nationality and these tickets will be indicated in the ticket you will use.For upper class ticket, you can book in advance for 3 days, others can be bought only 1 day in advance.
2. Notes when buying the Myanmar Train tickets:
At the current time, you are not able to buy the ticket when you are not at the destination. You can not buy tickets from Bagan to Yangon if you are not in Yangon. Accordingly, travel agencies may just help you to reserve.For many places in Myanmar, you should ask your hotel receptionist to buy the tickets for you though you may pay some service charge, it is worth.
