The company is seeking new opportunities in major cities including Yangon, as it moves to enlarge its global footprint in emerging markets.
Speaking at the opening of Fraser Suites Doha in Qatar on Monday, Frasers Hospitality chief executive Choe Peng Sum said the company aimed to keep moving aggressively into emerging markets such as the Middle East and Asia.
There is a huge demand for accommodation in Myanmar, for instance, with a severe shortage of hotels and serviced apartments since the country opened its doors and embarked on reforms last year.
