Day 1. HANOI – TAN KY ( 290 KM – L, D ) HOTEL
Driving from Hanoi, our tour hit the road to the South, running through the small paved paths which are parallel with Song Hong (the Red River). Tan Ky town is the start of Ho Chi Minh trail. We can reach Tan Ky town after long way riding from Xuan Mai.
We will stay one night in a hotel to feel the peaceful and quiet of this town as the first day of Vietnam motorcycle tours.
DAY 2. TAN KY – PHONG NHA ( 280 KM – B, L, D ) HOME STAY

The 2nd day of Vietnam motorbike tours will start by a light breakfast, then we follow the trail to Pho Chau and take a break. We can explore Ho Chi Minh trail victory monument here. You also can see many historical relics placed along the trail.
After the break, we keep heading to Phong Nha Ke Bang, a UNESCO world heritage, one of the most gorgeous cave systems in the world. The length of Phong Nha Ke Bang is more than 65 kilometers of caves and underground rivers, extends to the border of Laos.
The night break of this motorbike tour in Vietnam, we will stay in the hotel in Phong Nha.
DAY 3. PHONG NHA – DONG HOI ( 60 KM – B, L, D ) HOTEL
The next day, we spend the morning boating and exploring the beauty of Phong Nha Ke Bang cave system. Along with the historical relics – bomb shelter, you can see the masterpiece of nature in this motorbike riding in Vietnam trips.
In the afternoon, we keep riding to Dong Hoi, which was horribly devastated in the war because it is an important battlefield. After the long tiring days, we will stay a hotel near the beach. That could be an ideal plan if you book a hotel with the balcony looking forward to the beach to enjoy the beach in the night.
DAY 4. DONG HOI – KHE SANH ( 200 KM – B, L, D ) HOTEL

Our road in next day of motorbike riding in Vietnam on the Ho Chi Minh routes is from Dong Hoi to Quang Binh. Riding around the bare hills, see the sabotage of Agent Orange which US soldiers sprayed in DMZ. I recommend you should stop at some historical vestiges such as Vinh Moc tunnel, Hien Luong bridge, etc. Because you not only can have a beautiful view here but also can get wider knowledge about the severe years of Vietnamese.
Take a break at Khe Sanh and stay overnight at a local hotel here.
DAY 5. KHE SANH – HUE ( 180 KM – B, L, D ) HOTEL

The 5th day, we keep riding motorbike to Hue from Khe Sanh. We will cross the DaKrong bridge to come to A Shau valley – a place was severely damaged in the Vietnam war.
The next destination is Hamburger Hill and barren mountain, other places were sprayed Agent Orange in Vietnam war. Then we come to A Luoi, a beautiful mountainous district of Hue. This is the home of mostly Bru Van Kieu people in Vietnam.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive Hue city after long road along the green paddy fields. This city is the place we will stay for the 7th night of Vietnam motorbike tours.
DAY 6. HUE – HOI AN ( 145 KM – B, L, D ) HOTEL
The 6th day of the motorcycle tours is spent to follow the highway 1, follow the Ho Chi Minh legendary trail along the coastal line and cross Hai Van pass. We will arrive Hoi An after about 100 kilometers on two wheels. This is an ancient town in Vietnam which is the main port of Vietnam in the 16-17th century.
To explore this town more on the next day, we will stay and watch the nightlife of Hoi An.
DAY 7. HOI AN SIGHTSEEING
The last destination of the Vietnam motorbike tours tackling the Ho Chi Minh trail will be spent on Hoi An. This town is famous not only for long and marvelous beaches but also for the cultural and historical attractions.
You can go ahead to Cua dai beach or ride along the windy fields from Hoi An to the coastal area in the afternoon. It is a just about 4km length.
At night, I recommend you to taste coffee on the bank of Thu Bon river, explore the nightlife of Hoi An with the shining and colorful lanterns while listening to the traditional music.
At the end of the day, we are back to Hanoi.
